Associate Membership
Universities South Africa

Universities South Africa (USAf) is an umbrella body representative of the 26 public universities in SA.
USAf endorses a comprehensive and equitable national higher education system that is responsive to the challenges facing South Africa. Through lobbying and advocacy, USAf promotes and facilitates an optimal environment conducive for universities to function effectively and efficiently. It promotes cohesive but diverse public universities in service of society, recognising the need for strong and effective universities.
Federation of Nigeria Universities (FENU)

The Federation of Somalia Universities (FESU), created under the auspices from Somalia media professionals in October 21, 2022. It is a membership-based organization serving as private and nonprofit Community Based Organization (CBO) and as education programs working NGO in the national higher education community sector through: expertise & trends analysis, publications & portals, advisory services, peer-to-peer learning, events as well as doing national, regional, continental and global level advocacy by developing Somalia higher education system after the collapse of the central government since 1990.
FESU is an institutional Media Network of Universities from the different federal states including Benadir region and it is currently made up of 20th universities from four federal regions of Somalia including, Hirshabelle, Puntland, Southwest and Banadir region, combining over 1.000 university staff and 17, 000 students.

Honorary Membership

HEDI is founding in 2019 by university scholars and researchers coincided with a growing nationalism investment in the education sector throughout Horn of Africa region.

Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU) is a not-for-profit National Research and Education Network (NREN) that offers affordable services uniquely designed to enable collaboration among its member institutions and their global partners.

Sweden East-Africa University Network (SWEAFUN) is a strategic joint initiative from Chalmers University of Technology (Chalmers) and partner universities in East Africa to increase collaboration and develop knowledge promoting global sustainable development.
