Shaping the Future of Higher Education for Innovation and Sustainable Development in Africa.

The Federation of African Universities (FAU) issued today her first piece report for the members quality accreditation ranking highlights after when their leaders concluded the Africa Universities Summit 2025 in cooperation with the Times Higher Education Magazine in which brought together cross-continental partners from higher education, industry, policy and civil society to discuss the greatest challenges and opportunities facing African higher education and broader society.

Thought leaders, experts and changemakers from around Africa and beyond joined together to explore the importance of equitable partnerships for higher education institutions in Africa, promoting sustainability in higher education, harnessing digital transformation for good, and improving the quality of research and employability. With more than 400 senior leaders attending two and a half days of networking events, the summit presents the best opportunity to meet as peers from across the continent and beyond.
