The Federation of Nigerian Universities (FENU) is an organization that represents the interests, freedoms, independent and democracy programs of Nigerian universities and their stakeholders. It was established in 2010 and has since played a significant role in shaping higher education in Nigeria.
Some of the key functions of the federation include the formulation of policies and guidelines as well as students associations code of conducts for the development of education in Nigeria, the coordination and implementation of educational programs. It will help them the regulation inquiries of educational institutions and activities, the promotion of quality assurance in education and the development of human resources in the education sector.
