Students from all 10 faculties and the Kisumu and Mombasa campuses were feted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking during the ceremony, Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Francis Mulaa said the annual event reflects the university\u2019s commitment to developing well-rounded graduates. \u201cThis is about more than just academics. We are recognizing excellence in leadership, innovation, volunteerism, and sports. These students represent the true spirit of UoN,\u201d he said. Prof. Mulaa thanked the donors and called on alumni and partners to continue supporting the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Winnie Kamau, delivering remarks on behalf of the Acting DVC Academic Affairs, Prof. Eng. Ayub Gitau, said the event was a reflection of the university\u2019s broader mission. \u201cThis is not just a ceremony. It\u2019s a show of the kind of students we are shaping \u2013 skilled, creative, and socially responsible,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event attracted 107 donors who contributed KES. 2.645 million in awards. Some students also secured internship and attachment opportunities. Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund, one of the long-standing supporters, sponsors students to the tune of Kshs 10 million annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking on behalf of the donors, Mrs. Margaret Njoroge encouraged students to stay focused despite challenges stating, \u201cDon\u2019t lose sight of your goals. We celebrate your hard work.
